Over the nine years that Australia has participated in the Global Enterprise Challenge (GEC) we have shown by the quality of our results, being consistently in the top four, that our students are world class contenders. Now with Team Australia, the students from Earnshaw State College QLD, taking out first place in this year’s Global Enterprise Challenge, against teams from 13 countries, we are no longer the contenders, now we are the Champions.

The new ABW computer simulation – The Café, has been entered in the Consensus Software Awards for 2010. These awards  identify the most innovative software in Australia and New Zealand. ABW is one of 13 finalists nominated after judging took place on the 21st May.

June 23rd will see ABW Chairman, Norman Owens, participating as a judge for The NSW Premiers, Business Studies, Economics Scholarship for Teachers. This is the 5th year that he has been a judge for these awards.
