Supported by the Conference Board of Canada and the International Partnership Network (IPN), the Global Awards celebrate outstanding and effective business, education and community organisation partnerships that have a significant impact on the communities in which they operate.

ABW was awarded the 2010 Global Best Award for the Asia Pacific region for developing the skills of the future workforce.

Glyn Evans from ABW attended and accepted the award on behalf of ABW. To be eligible, ABW needed to meet the following strict criteria;

If your partnership identifies skills that are becoming necessary in the continuously evolving economic global marketplace – particularly in applications of science, mathematics, engineering, information technology, leadership and diversity. The successful program will demonstrate innovative approaches and links between education, business and the community in the development of skills for an inclusive workforce.
