Introduction
The primary program is a hands-on enterprise education program run over one or more weeks designed specifically for primary school students. It can then be followed up with an extensive program which is run over a term or longer.
Parents have seen their childrens overall language, reading and mathematics skills improve as they participate in this fun and exciting form of education.
The program is flexible in delivery. It can involve a single class or the whole cohort. Each school is able to deliver the curriculum through a range of sequenced activities to achieve the required learning outcomes. For students the learning is investigative and hands-on, making normal school work more relevant.
Through the program students acquire practical knowledge and develop self worth, community responsibility, a work ethic and respect for others. Students identify areas they excel at and set personal goals for future development.

Why Primary Students
Young children constantly question and engage in trial and error, observing the results of their actions. By using inquiry learning, children begin to develop by testing concrete situations and pondering abstract concepts, applying knowledge and skills gained from these experiences to new situations.
The primary curriculum draws on all bodies of knowledge and is uniquely placed to use inquiry learning methods. These methods allow teachers to nurture students' talents, creativity and curiosity for the most effective learning. The ABW program complements this.
