ABW Enterprise Education
The ongoing success of the ABW Enterprise Education program is testament to the vision of its co-founders, Margaret Owens and the late Norman Owens OAM, who rightly grasped the role that schools could play in helping young people gain a better understanding of business.
They launched a program that has seen more than 200,000 students over almost 30 years learn from the experience and expertise of successful entrepreneurs.
I've often said that when you teach people skills, you give them opportunities for life. Equipping students with the knowledge and confidence to join or start their own business is a wonderful gift for those on the cusp of adulthood, as they contemplate the vast array of career possibilities ahead.
Investing in education and training does not only help individuals. It enriches our entire nation, lifting our talent base and empowering industry to grow.
I'm therefore pleased to offer my support to the ABW Enterprise Education program. I encourage all participants - past and present - to make the most of this rewarding experience.
